Did You Know?

In 2016, we burst onto the scene and announced our presence without any real warning! Here are a few little bits and pieces about our team and our authors.

There's a lot more to this website than meets the eye. See if you can find an Easter Egg or two...

The crow on our label is a hand-shadow. Why not get someone to take a picture of you trying it yourself and send it across to us?

We are on YouTube and Twitter but not Facebook just yet. You can follow Day's Dying Glory on Twitter for book-specific posts and information.

As well as our popular book blog, we have a blog here, which means that you can keep up to date with all the goings-on at Crowvus. Luckily, the authors are happy to write blog posts. Well, we say they're happy - they don't complain, anyway!

Everything apart from the actual printing is done "in house". Once one of the authors passes on a final draft, we go through the editing process with them (this takes months) and then do final proof-reading. We design a cover and then send the book to a Reader, who is selected based on their interests and knowledge of literature and language. Then, once all final comments and suggestions have been taken on board, we send the book to the printers and wait for that exciting parcel to come through the post!

We have a broad range of interests when it comes to books. Our first publication, Day's Dying Glory by Virginia Crow, was a historical fiction novel. Since then, we have published more fiction, some non-fiction, poetry and short stories. It has been a busy couple of years!

Lord Byron - a great poet with a "questionable moral compass".

"If a story is in you, it has to come out."
