We are often open for submissions, either for our competition, our journal, or other one-off invitations. Check our submissions page to see what we’re looking for right now!

As well as publishing, we also offer editorial and formatting services. Have a look at our Author Services page to find out if we can be of any help to you.

When we started Crowvus, it was simply a way to share our own stories with the world. Publishing is a tricky business to break into, and there are only so many rejection letters your wellbeing can handle.
During the development of our first book (before we were even a registered partnership!) we learnt the importance of editing, cover design and formatting. And, you know what? We didn’t get it all 100%.
So we committed ourselves to being even better: to being an independent publisher which produces top industry-standard books for readers of all ages and backgrounds.
We also wanted to be there for other authors who are facing the same barriers we faced when we wanted to get work published, and that’s why we are so proud of our competition, our journal (Hooded), and our author services.
Now you’ve learnt a little about our history, why not explore our catalogue, and let the stories leap from the page and speak for themselves…
